To enable each participant to see and know their sacred worth and to equip them to help others see their worth as well.

Youth Events

You must sign up and the fill out the Youth 24-25 form must be filled out before attending any activities with Kearney First UMC Youth Group.

Hygiene Item Drive

We are continuously collecting new and/or unused hygiene items for children in need! You can donate items or you can scan the QR code to donate funds and we will purchase highest need items. See "Read More" for the list of needed items.

Heart for the Hungry

February is Heart for the Hungry month! Our children and youth are hosting a non-perishable food drive to help stock the East Lawn food pantry! You can drop off donations in the Gathering Area

Lenten Coin Collection

The Youth Together are collecting “Coins for Lent.” They invite you to assist them with saving your coins in jars for Easter. Both the Middle School and High School students are participating and are selecting a mission to donate all of the coins to following Easter. They may ask you to help, stop by your SS/Small group, or invite your family to join them. This is part of an initiative of our Great Plains Conference as we lean into Lent together.

Valentine's Brunch

Join us for a Valentine’s Brunch on Sunday, February 22nd from 10-1 in the Fellowship Hall. Donations for the meal are welcome and invited. We will have delicious food, fruit and breads, as well as beverages for you to enjoy. Bring the whole family or your small groups… All are welcome as we support the youth ministry students with FUMC.

Scholarship Applications Open

Our college scholarship application has also opened! We have 6 categories of scholarships available for high school seniors, college students, and seminary students. You can find the application on the Youth page of our church website (click on "read more") or at the main church office. Scholarship applications are due at noon on Friday, March 6th
