Lay Servant Ministries Trainning

We will be hosting a Lay Servant Ministries Basic Course on Friday, October 24th from 6-8PM and Saturday, October 25th from 9AM-5PM!  This course is an introductory course designed to equip new church leaders and renew current leaders in the United Methodist Church. this course covers these core categories: Ministry of the Baptized, Leading, Caring, and Communicating.  It also emphasizes ministry in daily life and sharing faith stories.  the cost is $40 per person and registration closes October 10th.  Scan the QR code to register or visit greatplainsumc.org/lay-events to learn more!

Fall Festival

Come join us for our Fall Festival on Wednesday, October 8 from 5:30-7:30PM in the north parking lot! There will be food, games, pumpkin carving and more! This is event is open to all ages! Bible Blast

On Sunday, September 14th during the 10 AM Connect and Grow Hour, our Children’s ministry will be hosting a Bible Blast for kids ages 3rd grade and up! There will be snacks, games, and activities!

Grief Share

GriefShare will begin Monday, Sept. 8 at 7:00pm in the Seekers Room.
GriefShare is a 13 week program where you will learn how to walk the journey of grief and find support after the loss of a loved one. It’s a place where grieving people find healing and hope.

Podcast Bible Study

If you would like to dive in deeper during our 2025 series but may not have the time to commit to an in-person Bible study, our Thursday morning podcasts will be structured as a mini Bible study. They will focus on segments of the non-preached passages of scripture from the pastor who didn't preach on the chapter. Our radio broadcast ministry is now a call-in sermon ministry.  You can call 308-208-6336 to listen to Sunday’s scripture and sermon!  The sermon will be uploaded on Sunday afternoon and is available 24/7 until the next Sunday’s upload.  If you’d like to listen to the full service, you can find it on the sermon archive page of our website, our YouTube channel, or on our mobile app!

East Lawn Volunteers
