What's Going On At Kearney First UMC?

Our children will be putting together Advent baskets for the families of East Lawn and need your help! They need donations of Milk Chocolate Hershey Kisses, Mini Candy Canes, Microwave Popcorn, and Hot Cocoa packets. Monetary donations are also appreciated to cover other supplies as needed. All donations are needed by November 13th. Thank you for your support!

The East Lawn Food Ministry is in need of volunteers to complete various tasks on Saturday Mornings and join the pick-up substitute list.  Contact the church office if you are interested volunteering.

The health and wellness ministry’s fall blood drive will take place on Friday, October 18th from 11 am - 5 pm at the red cross office. There is an urgent need for blood donations as rescue and recovery continues from Hurricane Helene. Registration is available in-between services in the Narthex.

The Fall Grief Share class will begin Monday, September 9th at 7 PM in the Seeker Classroom. Grief share is a free class for all who are mourning the loss of a loved one. This class helps you find understanding, guidance, relief and provides a safe place to navigate the challenges of grief. Contact the church office to register.

Did you know we broadcast our 11 AM service on the Radio? Help spread the Gospel by sponsoring a Sunday radio broadcast!  The cost is $210 per Sunday.  Contact Ann in the office if interested.

Join the sugar-rush filled fun at Trunk-or-Treat! We need trunk/table sponsors, donated candy/treats, and your presence! Trunk-or-Treat will be on Wednesday, October 30th from 5:30-7 PM in the North Parking lot!
Contact the church office of Jeanine to reserve your trunk spot! Additionally, a fundraising meal will be available from 5:15-7PM in the Fellowship Hall!

Join our community in a walk to bring awareness to human trafficking. This free event will take place on October 19th in parking lot D of the Good Samaritan Hospital. Registration opens at 9:30 and the walk begins at 10 AM. For more information, check out A21.org/walk
