Pastors Matt and Seungli are hosting a church membership class in two sessions on October 22 and October 29 from 12:30-2PM with lunch provided. If you are interested in joining Kearney First UMC or are curious about what it means to be church together, please plan on attending!
Membership at a church is a spiritual commitment of locating our faith in a particular community of faith so we can grow our love of God and our neighbors as disciples. Pastors Matt and Seungli will be hosting a Methods Membership class in two sessions on Sundays October 22 and 29 from 12:30 - 2 PM with lunch provided.
The first session on October 22 will focus on understanding and embracing God’s grace. The second session on October 29 will focus on living into God’s grace in practice.
Letting the office or a pastor know you plan on attending for a lunch headcount is helpful but not required. These classes are open to all who want to become members of Kearney First UMC and to current members who would like to explore what it means to be Kearney First United Methodist Church together!
