We have five opportunities for worship throughout the week. Each service not only offers a different time but a different “feel” so that you can not only find the service time that fits you best the also the service style that fits you.
Saturday 6:00 pm Chapel
The Saturday evening service is a smaller, traditional style service. Service size is generally 20-60 people and is held in our Chapel off the fellowship hall. Traditional hymns with piano accompaniment are used as well as prayer, scripture readings, responsive readings and a sermon. This service is a great chance to experience worship in a smaller, more intimate setting. This service usually lasts about 40 minutes, and the dress is informal.
Sunday 8:15 am Blended
Our 8:15 Sunday service is a blended style service. Attendance is generally 100 and is held in our Sanctuary. Traditional hymns with organ or piano accompaniment are used, there is prayer, scripture readings, responsive readings, a children’s sermon and a pastoral sermon. The hand bell choir plays every second Sunday during the school year. The nursery is available during this service but no children or youth Sunday school programs. This service usually lasts about 50 minutes and the dress is business casual.
Sunday 9:30 am Contemporary
Our contemporary service features a worship team leading contemporary Christian music popular on Christian radio today. This service is in the Sanctuary and offers a different style of worship while still including the scriptures, a children’s sermon, and a pastoral sermon. It is our largest service, averaging nearly 300 and is especially popular with young families. The Nursery and Sunday school classes for all ages are available during this service but parents are encouraged to attend with their families as they wish. This service usually lasts about 60 minutes and the dress is casual.
Sunday 11:00 am Traditional
Our 11:00 Sunday service is a traditional service held in the Sanctuary. Attendance is normally around 200. The Chancel Choir is a part of the service during the school year and hand bell choir plays the second Sunday of every month during the school year in this service. Traditional hymns with organ accompaniment are used as well as prayer, scripture readings, responsive readings, a children’s sermon and a pastoral sermon. The Nursery and Sunday school classes for all ages are available during this service but parents are encouraged to attend with their families as they wish. This service usually lasts about 60 minutes and the dress is business.
Wednesday Come As You Are Worship
Our mid-week worship is offered on Wednesday nights from August through May from 6:30 pm until 7:00 pm in the Sanctuary. There are generally a couple contemporary Christian praise songs, a short message and a time for prayer. This service is heavily populated with youth and volunteers who are at the church for Wednesday night activities. It is also a great time to hear a different message than is offered at our other four services and is a quick way to get worship in and revive in the middle of a hectic week. There is a free-will offering meal provided from 5:30-6:45 every Wednesday night as well so you don’t even have to cook. Even if you attend weekend worship, we encourage you to come experience this unique experience. This service usually lasts about 30 minutes and the dress is very casual.
On The Radio
We don’t want anyone to miss the opportunity to worship with us each week, so we also offer our service over the radio every Sunday at 11 a.m. on KGFW, 1340 AM. This ministry is supported by different weekly sponsors who help cover the cost of broadcasting. It is a traditional worship format with a pastoral message. A bulletin of the service can be mailed to you if you make arrangements with our church office by calling 237-3158.
We Live stream every Sunday at 9:30 am. Click here to watch live, or to watch past services.
