Gift Cards

Ever shop at Walmart?  Or eat at Applebees?  Do you buy gas?  Need school supplies?  Then we have a deal for you!

Kearney First is selling gift cards from dozens of retailers as a fundraiser through the SCRIP program.

How does program help the church?

If you go to a store and buy a $25 gift card, you get just that. But buy the same $25 card at the same price through the church, and you help us out. When you buy a $25 gift card with us, the retailer gives the church a percentage of the sale . So, you buy things you would have anyway and the church benefits because you bought the cards here!

How much does the church make?

It varies from retailer to retailer. Sinclair gas stations give us 2%, Walgreens gives us 6% and Amigos give us 20%. But buying any of the cards benefits the church.

How do I order cards?

We keep some gift cards on hand that can be purchased and taken with you on Sunday morning. You can also fill out a form with payment at our booth in the Gathering Area and leave it in the dropbox or print the forms online and mail it to us or drop it by the office for additional cards. You can even order and pay for the cards online through the scrip website at

When do I get my cards?

Orders are made every Monday morning at 9 a.m. and can be picked up at the church office on Thursday.

How does the church use the money?

We will use it for specific projects in the church. We raised more than $1,000 to purchase a projector and speakers for the youth area and just finished raising money to give our Family Life Center a “Faith” Lift by repainting, adding our new church logo, the Lords prayer, some new banners and more.
